James Acaster has revealed that he effectively admitted to being a Traitor to Jerry Hall during a moment that never made it into the final edit of The Celebrity Traitors.

Speaking on Alan Carr's Life's A Beach podcast, the comedian said Jerry came right up to him, face to face, and told him she thought he was a Traitor. He says he looked her in the eye and replied that it might be him as well. Jerry called him sneaky, he agreed that he was and that it could be him, and she walked away.

Acaster, who calls himself "the reluctant Traitor", revealed his identity at last week's tense Round Table, after coming under serious suspicion for the first time. Reports later suggested filming was paused and that he was given a welfare check beforehand. The BBC said the safety and welfare of everyone taking part is always its highest priority.
